Leap Into New Technology

Adult & Youth Services are joining forces to present a program of interest to the whole family. The Geek Squad from the Lansing Best Buy will demonstrate the latest in ereaders, tablets and gaming technology. Contact Adult Services to register. (Registration required.)
Book Discussion Group
The Book Discussion Group meets the first Thursday night of each month.*
February 2nd - The Immortal Life of Henrietta Lacks by Rebecca Skloot.

April 5th -- Blood, Bones and Butter by Gabrielle Hamilton
May 3rd -- Major Pettigrew's Last Stand by Helen Simonson

Society of Lifetime of Readers
Another reading club, the Society of Lifetime Readers, is open to all Library District residents aged 18 and above. No time restraints are placed on you; you can read at your own pace. Prizes are awarded for reading 25, 50, 100, 200, 400 and 800 books. Sign up in Adult Services.
Computer Classes
Fridays from 10-2. Register in person at the Library. Alsip-Merrionette Park Library residents have priority; non-residents will be placed on a waiting list. Registration fee is $10 for residents, and $25 for non-residents.
