Computers, Printers, Photocopiers, and Wi-Fi

Library computers offer Internet access as well as Microsoft Word, Access, Excel, PowerPoint and Publisher. Alsip-Merrionette Park Library cardholders may use computers at no charge. Computers are booked for 30-minute intervals. Non-residents pay $1.00 for 30 minutes.

One Internet Express computer is available to all adults for 15 minutes at no charge. A Career Computer is available to job seekers for 60-minute intervals. Sign up at the Adult Services Desk.

The Youth Services Dept. offers computer access to patrons 17 and under. Two Caregiver Computers are available to adults who are overseeing children ages nine and under. Several Preschool Computers provide access to games. Contact Youth Services at 708/371-5666 for details.

Print cards are 50 cents, and are required for printing. Black and white prints (and photocopies) are 10 cents per page, and color prints/copies are $1.00. Photocopiers are available on the main floor and lower level.

Wi-Fi is available; choose the AMPL Public network and get the password from library staff.
You can print from your laptop or home computer via our wireless printing.

No technical support will be provided, but many current computer books are available for checkout.
