Requesting Materials

Search the SWAN library catalog.
If the item is ON SHELF at the Alsip-Merrionette Park Library, call the library (708/371-5666) and ask for the item to be held for you at the Circulation Desk. Items are held for four days.

If the item is checked out, click the "Request" button at the top of the page. Fill out the form. First- time users will be asked to create a PIN.

If you want to place multiple holds, log in to "My Account", and then search and request the items.

If you forget your PIN or encounter any other problems, contact the library for assistance.

If you don't find what you are looking for, please contact the Adult or Youth Services Department at 708/371-5666. Librarians may be able to purchase the item, or acquire the item through Interlibrary Loan.
